I am the founder of Capital G, a dynamic conglomerate encompassing a diverse portfolio of companies in insurance, real estate, and various investment sectors. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, I have dedicated my career to identifying and cultivating business opportunities that drive growth and success.

I am carrying the torch forward with my family business and civil duties. ‘Galey’ has been a household name for three generations. I wanted to carry this name forward keeping some of the traditions but bringing its invovlement into current relevant times. 

Hence the evolution of Capital G. 

My academic journey began at Florida State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and Political Science. I continued my education in the insurance sector by obtaining professional designations as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and a Professional Workers Compensation Advisor (PWCA). I am President of SouthGroup – The Galey Agency, Inc., where I work closely with clients to assess and manage organizational risks.

In addition to my work in the insurance industry, I serve as the President of Galey Companies, Inc., a private real estate investment firm. I have held a MS Real Estate License that I have maintained for over 16 years. Through this role, I have led complex collaborations to identify, evaluate, and execute development and investment opportunities, further diversifying my business ventures. Additionally, I have begun to invest in private start-up companies.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am deeply committed to my community. I have had the privilege of serving on various boards and commissions, including the Area Development Partnership (ADP) Executive Committee, where I previously held the position of Chairman and Chair the City of Hattiesburg Civil Commission. I’ve been bred into a believe in civic engagement that spans over 3 generations. Giving back to the community drives much of my work outside of business.

On a personal note, I am a husband and father of two who loves the outdoors and staying active. Whether it’s hunting, fishing, running, recreational boxing, or weightlifting, I thrive on new challenges and adventures. I also enjoy connecting with people, attending live music events, and exploring new experiences.

Through Capital G, I continue to pursue my passion for building businesses and creating lasting value. It’s not just about success—it’s about making a meaningful impact on the industries I serve and the communities I’m a part of.
